Paper Jam / Receipt Not Feeding

  1. Turn the register OFF before checking
    • Prevents damage to the printer mechanism

    • Look for torn pieces or scraps inside
    • Remove any debris carefully
    • Even small pieces can block feeding
  3. Remove the paper roll and reinstall it correctly
    • Paper should feed from the bottom of the roll
    • Incorrect loading is a very common cause
  4. Check that the paper roll is the correct type
    • Use standard thermal receipt paper
    • Low-quality or damp paper can cause jams
  5. Make sure the paper is aligned properly in the tray

  6. Gently advance the paper manually
    • Pull paper in the normal feed direction only
    • Do NOT force it backward
  7. Close the cover securely and power the unit back on

  8. Run a test print or feed function
